Nail Art Design: Blue Nail with Orange/Pink Flames
For this nail, I used a bold blue for the background. In order to get this affect, allow the background color to dry completely. I then added a think line horizontally from side to side of orange, yellow, then pink. I then took a spotter tool (you can use a tooth pick, orange wood stick, or anything else that has a blunt end). Then I zig zagged it up the nail to form the flames. I used three gems (use the appropriate amount per the length of the nail), painted on a small strip of clear top coat to get the gems to stick. I then allowed it to dry enough to place a coat of top coat onto the nail. I used a white nail tip for this design; however, this does not have to be anything specific to get the blue to be the same color on a natural or acrylic nail. The blue is a darker color, so there should be no differences in the colors from one nail to the other.
