Nail Art Design: Cookie Monster from Sesame Street with Googly Eyes
Sesame Street is still popular for those who watched it when they were young. My husband's favorite character is Cookie Monster. I thought of a design for Cookie Monster. I hope that you like the design. I painted the nail white with brown cookie shapes for the background. I then painted a blue spot for his head. I painted a rounded corner square for his mouth. I added a small dot of glue to get the small googly eyes to stick. (They were bought at Michael's Craft Store). I then added two coats of top coat to protect the nail and the design. The googly eyes move when you move your finger. This design is for the thumbs. The rest of the nails should be the white/cookie background nail art design. What do you think?
Nail Art Design: Pink Nail with White/Blue Flowers
I used a baby pink with three layers on the nail. I allowed it to completely dry. I used a flat brush for the flowers. Place a small drop of one color (light and dark) touching another dot of a different color of paint. Blend the middle of the two drops that are touching each other.
Do a wavy motion with the tip of the brush to create the flower. I used a small spotter or dropper tool for the spots. I added three blue gems to match the middle of the flowers. After it completely dried, I added two layers of a top coat. I used a white nail tip for this nail art design with flower. To ensure that your nail art design has the appropriate color of background, you may want to have a layer of white added before the pink polish. Or you can add an extra layer of pink polish.
